Tucaxen 150 mg (Tucatinib)

 

Tucaxen 150 mg (Tucatinib), a generic Tukysa is a prescription medicine used to treat locally advanced unresectable or metastatic HER2-positive breast cancer who have received at least one or more prior anti-HER2 treatment regimens. It is indicated in combination with trastuzumab and capecitabine medicine. Everest Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh manufactures Tucaxen.

Have to take orally 300mg twice daily with or without food (about 12 hours apart).

 

Side Effects:

The most common adverse reactions are:

Diarrhea, hand-foot syndrome, nausea, fatigue, liver problems, vomiting, mouth sores/ pain, weight loss, muscle/ joint pain, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, headache, anemia, and rash.
